What Apex announced.
Apex Trader Funding announced Apex Arena 2.0 on X on 2 October. The competition opens on Monday 5 October at 11:00 AM CT (12:00 PM ET), when the free, online Wealth365 Summit begins. It runs on the WealthCharts platform with Apex Trader Funding as sponsor.
Kickoff, Monday 5 October 2026What Apex and the Summit have stated.
Source posts
| Prize | Amount | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Cash prizes | $25,000 | How it is split has not been published |
| Evaluation accounts | 200 | 40 awarded every day, per Apex |
| Performance Account (PA) | 10 x $100K | Hidden among surprise pop-up awards, per Apex |
| Total | 230+ | Apex's own count |
200 evaluations at 40 a day fits the five competition days. With the ten PA accounts that makes 210 account prizes, in line with the "200+ Apex accounts" on WealthCharts' countdown graphic, so Apex's 230+ total leaves at least 20 further awards that it has not itemised.
One route in: the Summit registration.
Apex's post gives a single way in. This is what it involves, based on the pages we checked on 4 October.
- 1Register for the Summit.
Apex's link (tinyurl.com/bxet3c54) leads to wealth365.com/apex2, a registration page for the Summit and the Arena. WealthCharts' own countdown post gives wealth365.com/summit2 as its sign-up link, which we could not open.
- 2Read the consent line before you submit.
The form says registering means agreeing to receive information, invitations to live trading and training events, and promotions from Wealth365 and its partners. The competition rules name the recipients as Wealth365, WealthCharts and the Summit's participating sponsors and prize contributors, including Apex. A mobile number is optional and adds a text reminder 15 minutes before the Summit starts.
- 3Set up WealthCharts.
Apex's post does not mention this step, but the published rules do. Active WealthCharts Prop account holders register from inside the platform through the competition icon. Everyone else can register for a free WealthCharts access account and then confirm participation as the organisers direct.
- 4Watch your email.
The registration page speaks of being invited to compete, and the rules say winners are notified through the contact details given at registration.
- 5Read the rules.
We found no link to them in Apex's post or on the Arena page, but they are published on Wealth365's Terms and Conditions page, under "Wealth365 Summit Trading Competition: Official Rules". The version posted still carries July dates, as the next section explains.
Registration is free and goes through Wealth365, not Apex or Trader Payout.
Register for the Wealth365 Summit →If you plan to trade on WealthCharts with Apex afterwards, our Apex WealthCharts setup guide covers connecting an Apex account. The guide deals with Apex evaluation accounts, which is a separate process from the free access account the rules describe for the Arena.
The Official Rules, with a date caveat.
Wealth365's Arena page refers to Official Rules, and we found no link to them there. They sit on its Terms and Conditions page, under "Wealth365 Summit Trading Competition: Official Rules". WealthCharts' October countdown graphic also tells entrants to see the full terms and conditions.
The posted version gives a promotion period of 13 to 18 July 2026 "or as otherwise announced" and lists a different prize schedule: 100 evaluation accounts, ten PA accounts and $10,000 in cash, against Apex's October totals of 200, ten and $25,000. Treat what follows as the best published guide to the October terms, and confirm it before you trade.
Wealth365 and WealthCharts sponsor and administer the competition. Apex is named as a prize contributor, which means Apex issues and governs the account prizes.
Entrants must be 18 or over, lawfully resident where participation and prizes are lawful, and eligible to receive CME market data under CME Group's policies. Residents and nationals of sanctioned places such as Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria are excluded, as are employees of the sponsors and prize contributors and their households. It is one registration per person.
The rules call it a skill-based contest, with criteria announced at or before the start. Categories include most money made and most consistent trading strategy. Categories that recognise consistency, strategy or quality of trading are judged at the discretion of Wealth365 and its judges, whose decisions are final. Leaderboards shown during the week are informational, may lag and are not final.
All trading happens in simulated or evaluation environments. No real funds are at risk, and entrants have no right to simulated profits except as the prize structure states.
Multiple accounts, coordinated or mirrored trading, and latency or data-feed exploits. A shared IP address or device may be treated as evidence of multiple entries. Wealth365 may also disqualify an entrant whose connection is lost or interrupted while the competition is running, and affected trades or scores may be voided.
Winners are notified through their registration details and must claim by email by 11:59 PM Central Time on the final day of the Summit. They may be asked for proof of identity, age and country, and for tax forms. Late claims are forfeited.
The rules value each evaluation account at its published price, roughly $50 to $167, and say headline figures such as $10 million refer to combined simulated account sizes, not cash. An evaluation account is a simulated product, not cash and not a funded live account. Apex issues and activates it under its own terms, and the winner may need to open an account with Apex, accept its terms and meet CME market data requirements. Winning does not guarantee funding or payouts.
Winners grant Wealth365 and its designees the right to use their name, likeness and trading data, including charts and layouts, in marketing.
What is still open.
Even with the rules, several points are unresolved.
The posted version still carries July dates and a different prize schedule, and Wealth365's Arena page refers to Official Rules without a link that we could find. Apex's own website, including its news archive, has no Arena page that we could find.
The rules say criteria are announced at or before the start. We found none published for October, and the rules do not say how many prizes each category carries.
Apex calls registration the ticket in, the registration page refers to being invited to compete, and the rules add a WealthCharts step. How these fit together is not spelled out.
Apex counts 230+ prizes in total. Wealth365 says 60+ are awarded every day, which over five days would be at least 300. The two counts may cover different prizes, but neither page says so.
Apex says 40 are awarded every day. The rules describe categories and judging but not how the 40 are chosen.
Apex fixes the platform when an evaluation is bought, as our WealthCharts guide explains. The rules say winners may need to open an account with Apex, but no source says whether prize evaluations or PA accounts are issued on WealthCharts, Rithmic or Tradovate, or how long they stay valid.
Free entry, with a few trade-offs.
For a trader, the cost of entry is a registration form, a WealthCharts account if you do not already have one, some time, and marketing consent that names Wealth365, WealthCharts and the Summit's sponsors, Apex among them. Most of the prizes Apex lists are Apex products, evaluations and PA accounts, so a competition like this also puts the firm's accounts in front of new traders. That is common in firm-run competitions.
Read the headline numbers with the rules in mind. The rules value each evaluation account at its published price, roughly $50 to $167 in the posted wording, and describe the account prizes as simulated products, not cash or live funding. If the same valuation applies in October, the 200 evaluations are worth roughly $10,000 to $33,400 at retail price, alongside the $25,000 in cash. Apex's own risk disclosure also describes its programmes as simulated, with discretionary reward payouts.
Apex is not the only prop firm at the Summit. The registration page's sponsor section carries logos labelled Tradeify and Top One, and the Summit's prize list includes free prop evaluation accounts from prop trading firms, valued at $100,000+ in total.
A leaderboard and an evaluation also test different things. A leaderboard ranks entrants against each other, while an Apex evaluation measures a trader against fixed drawdown and consistency rules. A strong week in the Arena does not by itself show how an evaluation account would go.
Kickoff on Monday, finale on Friday.
The Arena opens on Monday 5 October with the Summit's kickoff session at 12:00 PM ET. The schedule lists the closing session for Friday 9 October, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM ET. The Summit ends on Saturday 10 October. We will update this article if Apex or Wealth365 publishes updated rules, the October scoring criteria or the winners.
