Eligibility is checked once a day, and requests can go in at any time.
BlueGuardian has updated the withdrawal system for its futures accounts. Eligibility for a withdrawal is now confirmed automatically when the dashboard updates at the end of each trading day. When that update shows a trader is eligible, the withdrawal button becomes active.
From then on, the trader can submit a request whenever they like during the day. They no longer have to wait for the next end-of-day cycle to ask.
What BlueGuardian says changes.
BlueGuardian describes this as an update to its futures withdrawal system. The announcement does not mention forex accounts. The Godfunded published the same announcement under two firm names, BlueGuardianFutures on 1 October and BlueGuardian on 2 October, with matching content.
- ✓Eligibility is confirmed when the dashboard updates at the end of each trading day (EOD).
- ✓As soon as that update shows a trader is eligible, the withdrawal button becomes active.
- ✓Once eligible, a trader can submit a withdrawal request at any time of day, without waiting for the following EOD cycle.
- ✓The BlueGuardian team will focus exclusively on processing payouts during each EOD window, which the firm expects to lead to faster handling of submitted requests.
- ✓The dashboard gives a clear status, so traders can see when they are allowed to withdraw.
What the announcement does not say.
- ✓Processing times. "Faster" is the firm's expectation. No processing times are given, before or after the change.
- ✓The existing commitment. In August, BlueGuardianFutures said withdrawals are processed within a maximum of 24 business hours, with an extra 10% profit share if there is a delay. The new announcement does not say whether that commitment changes.
- ✓Eligibility rules. The update is about when eligibility is confirmed and when requests can be made. It does not say whether the eligibility requirements themselves have changed.
- ✓Which plans. It does not name the futures plans it covers, such as Standard, Reserve, Express or Direct.
- ✓The end-of-day time. It does not say what clock or time zone the EOD update follows.
A workflow change that could shorten the wait, if the processing claim holds.
Under the new process, the time between becoming eligible and asking for a payout can be shorter, because a trader no longer has to wait for another end-of-day cycle to submit a request. The firm also says it will concentrate payout processing in the EOD window, which it expects to speed up handling.
Whether payouts actually arrive sooner depends on the processing step, and the announcement gives no figures for it. Traders should treat the change as a clearer, more flexible request process until processing times are published or reported by traders.
What to watch for.
Worth watching: whether BlueGuardian publishes processing times for the new workflow, and whether it confirms that the 24-business-hour commitment and the delay compensation it described in August still apply.
Comparing payout processes across futures firms.
Payout timing and eligibility checks vary a lot between futures firms. If withdrawal speed matters to you, it is worth comparing against an established benchmark.
