A funding programme, built into a degree.
Universiapolis, the Université Internationale d'Agadir, has formalised a partnership with Bahia Education Services, the MENA-region licensed provider of Earn2Trade products, to embed structured proprietary trading content into the fifth year of the university's accredited Master's programme in Financial Engineering and Trading. The deal was announced on 7 July 2026, and Earn2Trade confirmed it directly on its own X account on 13 July.
Under the arrangement, Earn2Trade holds exclusive status as the university's partner for structured trading education and evaluation programmes tied to the Master's. Students get access to Earn2Trade's beginner curriculum, at least two months of free demo access on live or live-equivalent market data, and a certificate co-issued by both institutions on completion. Graduates who clear the programme's requirements receive one free sitting of Earn2Trade's Trader Career Path 50K evaluation, which, if passed, can lead to a funded trading account through an authorised proprietary trading firm. A further twenty free examination accounts are distributed annually as student giveaways each January.
Habiba Elbardai, Dean of Universiapolis, said the integration was designed to equip Master's students with practical tools and evaluations relevant to the competitive proprietary trading field. Osvaldo Dos Santos, Owner of Bahia Education Services, described the academic embedding as a direct, structured pathway for students in Morocco to reach funded trading accounts on graduation.
Read literally, that is the tension in this story. The programme is real, dated, and confirmed by both sides. Whether it is a "direct pathway" to a funded account or a free attempt at an evaluation that most participants still need to pass is a distinction the announcements on both sides tend to blur.

What is confirmed.
The partnership itself, its scope, and its structure are confirmed by both parties. Universiapolis has embedded Earn2Trade content into the fifth year of its Financial Engineering and Trading Master's. Students receive free demo access on live or live-equivalent data for at least two months, plus a co-issued certificate. Graduates who meet the programme's requirements get one free sitting of the Trader Career Path 50K evaluation, and twenty additional free examination accounts are given out each January. Earn2Trade's own 13 July post additionally confirms the programme's live start date of September 2026, a detail The Fintech Times' 7 July coverage had flagged as not yet known.
What remains uncertain.
Three things are worth flagging, and none of them are disputes between the parties, they are gaps in what has been said publicly by either side.
What "a free funded eval for grads" actually means
Proprietary trading firms typically impose drawdown limits and profit-share arrangements, and funded account access is conditional on passing an evaluation, not guaranteed on graduation. Earn2Trade's full official press release is careful about this distinction: it states graduates "will have the opportunity to receive a funded trading account through an authorized proprietary trading firm," properly hedged language. The compression happens specifically in the shorter X announcement, which describes the same benefit as "a free funded eval for grads," phrasing that reads, on a first pass, more like a guaranteed funded account than an evaluation attempt. This is a social-media-shorthand issue rather than a company-wide messaging problem, but it is the version of the announcement most students are likely to actually see and share.
We are not accusing either party of misrepresentation, and Earn2Trade's full press release gets this right. The reason it is still worth flagging is that the compressed version travels further and faster than the full release, and the audience for it is prospective students, not experienced traders, who are less likely to already know the distinction between "an evaluation" and "an account."
Which regulatory framework the pathway sits under
Universiapolis operates under Moroccan domestic financial services oversight. Bahia Education Services, Earn2Trade's regional licensee, is based in Dubai, which sits under a separate regulatory environment, including bodies like the DFSA and the wider ADGM framework that have been paying closer attention to how retail-facing trading products are marketed. Neither party has addressed how the funded account pathway is structured across those two jurisdictions.
Whether this is genuinely the first partnership of its kind
Neither Earn2Trade's own official press release, distributed in full via Business Wire, nor Earn2Trade's own updated partners page, uses the word "first" anywhere. The partners page instead describes the collaboration as "pioneering," softer language. The claim that this is the "first accredited university trading education partnership" appears only in secondary coverage (FF News' headline, among others), without attribution to either party or to any third-party source. It may still be accurate, formal university accreditation is unusual in a sector that mostly distributes content through self-directed online channels, but it is secondary coverage's own framing, not something either party has actually claimed.
Why this matters.
The prop trading education sector has grown markedly over the past several years, driven by retail demand for structured pathways into futures and forex markets. Providers including Earn2Trade, FTMO, and MyFundedFutures compete largely on the credibility of their evaluation models and their reach across educational and professional networks. A formal university accreditation gives Earn2Trade a reputational anchor that a self-directed online course cannot easily replicate, and gives Universiapolis a vocational, industry-linked component to add to its Master's programme.
For students, the value of the arrangement rests entirely on whether the funded account pathway translates into something real after graduation, and that in turn rests on the evaluation-versus-guarantee distinction above. A free attempt at a real evaluation is a genuinely useful benefit. A guaranteed funded account would be a different, much larger claim, one that nothing in either party's public statements actually supports.
What happens next.
The programme is scheduled to go live in September 2026. The two open questions, the regulatory framework across Morocco and the UAE, and whether other MENA-region universities follow with comparable partnerships, are the things worth watching. We will update this piece if either party clarifies the funded-account terms or the licensing structure, or if the programme's actual September launch surfaces new detail.
In the meantime, if you're evaluating futures funding options on your own timeline, Apex Trader Funding is currently running a discount on evaluation fees.
