Two new toggles, priced by size.
Funded Futures Family has added two configurable, monthly-billed options to its Velocity plan: Daily Payout and EOD Drawdown. Announced 3 September 2026 and listed as available for a limited time, both can be selected independently or together at checkout.
Daily Payout lets a trader request a payout every day instead of every three trading days, and removes the 40% consistency rule on the funded account. EOD Drawdown switches the evaluation's drawdown calculation from intraday to end-of-day, the first time this has been available on Velocity, which previously existed only with intraday trailing.
| Account | Velocity | + Daily Payout | + EOD Drawdown | + Both |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | $79 | $29 | $30 | $138 |
| $50,000 | $125 | $39 | $50 | $214 |
| $100,000 | $225 | $59 | $80 | $364 |
| $150,000 | $325 | $69 | $110 | $504 |
Monthly pricing. "+ Both" reflects Velocity base plus both add-ons combined.
Pricing scales by account size. On the $25,000 account, Velocity costs $79 per month, with Daily Payout adding $29, EOD Drawdown adding $30, and both together bringing the total to $138. On $50,000, the base is $125, with the add-ons at $39 and $50 (total $214). On $100,000, the base is $225, with add-ons at $59 and $80 (total $364). On $150,000, the base is $325, with add-ons at $69 and $110 (total $504).
Funded Futures Family's own checkout describes the EOD option directly: it switches the Velocity evaluation to end-of-day trailing drawdown, while the funded account stays on intraday. The drawdown amount itself doesn't change with the option, staying at $1,250, $2,250, $3,250, or $4,750 depending on size. What changes is when the limit is recalculated: once a day using the closing balance under EOD, rather than continuously following each session's intraday high.
What is confirmed.
Both new options, their independent and combined pricing across all four account sizes, and the specific mechanics of the EOD option (evaluation-only, drawdown amount unchanged, recalculation timing changed) are confirmed directly in Funded Futures Family's own checkout, verified 4 September 2026.
What remains uncertain.
Funded Futures Family lists both options as available for a limited time but has not published an end date.
Why this matters: Velocity + EOD versus Premier.
The real decision here isn't simply whether to add EOD to Velocity, it's whether Velocity with EOD makes more sense than Funded Futures Family's existing Premier plan, which already includes EOD drawdown at no extra cost.
| Account | Velocity + EOD | Premier (EOD included) | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | $109 | $119 | −$10 |
| $50,000 | $175 | $159 | +$16 |
| $100,000 | $305 | $249 | +$56 |
| $150,000 | $435 | $459 | −$24 |
Negative difference means Velocity + EOD is cheaper than Premier at that size.
On the $25,000 and $150,000 sizes, Velocity plus the EOD add-on comes out cheaper than Premier. On $50,000 and $100,000, Premier is cheaper. Beyond price, Premier asks for a lower profit target and fewer minimum trading days, with no consistency rule, while Velocity allows meaningfully more loss headroom, $2,250 against Premier's $1,500 on the $50,000 size.
A trader whose system needs that extra cushion may find Velocity worth the higher price on those sizes; a trader who doesn't need it may find Premier the better deal outright. Worth checking the current price of both in your size before buying, since either plan's pricing can change.
What happens next.
We will update this piece if Funded Futures Family publishes an end date for either option or changes the pricing structure.
Comparing evaluation and drawdown structures across firms is worth doing anywhere. Apex Trader Funding is another established futures firm worth comparing on documented terms, currently running a discount on evaluation fees.
