1 What happened

A one-phase evaluation built around round-the-clock synthetic markets.

FundingPips has launched Labs 247, a limited edition of its experimental Labs programme built around continuous trading in synthetic markets. These are CFDs designed to replicate the behaviour of real assets, and the model allows 24/7 execution during both the evaluation phase and the funded Master account, unlike FundingPips' standard products which follow ordinary market hours.

2 What is confirmed

Pricing, targets and the path to a Prime account.

Tradable assets include cryptocurrencies, US stocks, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 indices, metals and oil, all as synthetic CFDs rather than direct market instruments. After five payouts or $20,000 in total rewards, traders may be invited to a $50,000 Prime account, at which point the Labs 247 account closes.

News trading is unrestricted during the evaluation. On Master accounts, positions cannot be opened or closed five minutes before or after high-impact events (ten minutes for official speeches), though positions opened more than five hours before the event are exempt.

3 What remains uncertain

How long this edition actually runs, and what happens after a Prime invitation.

FundingPips describes Labs 247 as a "limited edition" but has not published an explicit end date or cap beyond the account mechanics themselves. It is also not detailed what happens to a trader's Labs 247 track record or any credits if they decline a Prime account invitation, or whether reaching the $20,000 reward threshold guarantees an invitation versus simply making a trader eligible.

4 Why this matters

Synthetic markets sidestep the weekend gap, but they are not the same as trading the real asset.

Round-the-clock execution is a genuine convenience for traders who want exposure over weekends or outside standard hours, and several retail brokers have been expanding weekend and synthetic offerings this year for the same reason. The key distinction worth understanding is that Labs 247 trades CFDs replicating asset behaviour, not the underlying instruments themselves on their normal exchange hours. That is a different product from FundingPips' standard evaluations, with its own drawdown structure (a 4% static cap rather than a trailing one) and its own commission and leverage terms.

5 What happens next

What to confirm before treating this as a long-term option.

Worth confirming directly with FundingPips before committing capital: how long Labs 247 will remain available as a "limited edition" product, and what happens to your account and progress if you are not invited to, or decline, the $50,000 Prime account after qualifying.

06 Comparing your options

If you want standard market hours instead.

Synthetic, round-the-clock markets suit some traders and not others. If you would rather trade standard evaluation conditions on real futures markets, it is worth comparing against an established futures-focused firm.
