Three restrictive rules, gone in one move.
FundingPips has announced a significant restructuring of its trading conditions, effective immediately. The firm has eliminated three of its most restrictive rules, Risk Per Trade Idea, the Striking System, and Profit Concentration, for both Evaluation and Master accounts across the 1 Step Flex, 2 Step Flex, 2 Step Pro, and 2 Step Standard models.
Faster paths to funding, customizable risk, and higher splits.
Minimum trading day requirements have been reduced or removed entirely:
| Model | Minimum days |
|---|---|
| 2 Step Pro | 0 days |
| 2 Step Standard | 0 days (3% DLL) or 3 days (5% DLL) |
| 1 Step Flex | 0 days (with 2% or 3% DLL) |
Traders can now choose their own daily loss limit based on risk appetite: 1 Step Flex offers 2% or 3%, while 2 Step Standard offers 3% or 5%. FundingPips has also introduced a reward split of up to 100% for 2 Step Flex, 2 Step Pro, 2 Step Standard, and 1 Step Flex accounts.
A new Swing Trading option now allows overnight and weekend position holds. The PRIME program, which remains invite-only, has switched from a trailing loss to a Max Static Loss, with a soft daily loss limit now set at 3%. All of these updated rules apply to new purchases only.
This isn't a tweak, it's a rulebook rewrite.
Rules like a Striking System or Profit Concentration cap exist specifically to prevent traders from passing evaluations on one lucky trade or a narrow strategy. Removing all three at once, across four separate account models, is a substantially larger change than the incremental rule tweaks most firms make. Combined with zero minimum days on several models and splits reaching 100%, FundingPips is repositioning itself toward speed and flexibility in a way that goes beyond a single product update.
The choice to let traders pick their own daily loss limit, rather than fixing it, is the more interesting structural change here: it shifts some of the risk-calibration decision from the firm to the trader, which is a different design philosophy than most evaluation models use. Since these terms apply only to new purchases, existing accountholders should confirm which ruleset governs their specific account before assuming any of this applies to them.
