⚠ Announcement vs. documentation

FundingPips' own help documentation has not been updated to match this expansion. It still labels the copier "MT5 only" and states that cTrader and Match-Trader accounts cannot be added as a lead, follower, or external account, even though the CEO's own screenshot shows all three platforms live in the interface.

01 What happened

Three platforms, one dashboard.

FundingPips has expanded its built-in trade copier to display three platform options, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and Match-Trader, confirmed directly by CEO Khaled Ayesh. A screenshot he shared showed all three connection options inside the copier interface, and FundingPips separately acknowledged on X that Match-Trader specifically had gone live.

Traders using more than one supported platform can now select from the three systems within the copier's dashboard, building a portfolio of lead and follower accounts. The copier supports three methods for sizing copied positions: scaling by the follower's balance, scaling by equity, or sending the original lot size unadjusted. Symbol mapping is also available for cases where the lead and follower accounts use different names for the same instrument, and FundingPips warns that a missing mapping can silently prevent a follower position from opening.

Country restrictions apply on top of the platform question. FundingPips currently states that US residents and citizens cannot use cTrader. Its account guide lists Match-Trader as available in the US and Canada, while all three platforms remain subject to broader country-level restrictions beyond that.

Comparing how firms document new features against what's actually live is worth doing anywhere. Apex Trader Funding is another established futures firm worth comparing on documented terms, currently running a discount on evaluation fees.

02 Confirmed

What is confirmed, and what isn't.

The visual expansion of the copier interface to show three platforms, and FundingPips' own acknowledgement that Match-Trader has gone live, are confirmed directly by the firm's CEO and its official X account. The cTrader restriction for US residents and Match-Trader's availability in the US and Canada are confirmed in FundingPips' own account guide.

What remains uncertain: FundingPips' own help documentation has not been updated to reflect the expansion, and the screenshot itself does not establish which specific account combinations can lead trades, which can follow, or whether every cross-platform pairing actually works end to end.

03 Why this matters

Why this matters.

This is a case where the announcement and the documentation are telling two different stories, and traders relying on the copier for real money decisions should notice that gap before assuming full functionality. A visible option in the dashboard is not the same guarantee as documented, tested support across every combination of lead and follower platform.

Editorial note

Anyone planning to copy trades across MT5, cTrader, and Match-Trader accounts should test carefully with small size first and treat the feature as still settling in, not as a fully mature, documented system yet.

We will update this piece once FundingPips updates its help documentation to match the expanded copier, or clarifies which platform combinations are fully supported.
