01What happened

Pay 25%, skip the wait.

FundingTraders has introduced a "No Minimum Trading Days" add-on for its 1-Step Pro, 2-Step Pro6 and 2-Step Pro10 accounts. Once applied, it removes the minimum trading day requirement from every challenge phase and the subsequent funded stage, letting a trader progress or access funded capital as soon as they clear the profit target, regardless of how few sessions that took.

The add-on is priced at 25% of the account's base price. It doesn't apply to Instant Funded accounts, which already operate without a minimum trading day requirement by default.

02A growing menu

This isn't FundingTraders' first paid rule removal.

Daily Drawdown Shield20% of base priceForgives one daily loss limit breach during evaluation instead of failing the account
No Minimum Trading Days25% of base priceRemoves the minimum trading day requirement across every phase and the funded stage

The Daily Drawdown Shield launched days earlier, on September 15. Together, the two add-ons cover two of the more common ways an evaluation can end early or drag on longer than a trader wants: an accidental daily loss breach, and a rule requiring time in the market rather than results.

03Why it matters

A rulebook that's optional if you're willing to pay for it.

Selling protection against a firm's own rules is a distinct business model from simply setting the rules a certain way. It means the base price of an account is no longer the full picture of what a trader is actually agreeing to; the real terms depend on which add-ons they stack on top, and each one has its own separate cost baked into the checkout flow.

It's also a bet that traders will pay more upfront in exchange for a materially better shot at passing or progressing quickly, rather than compare firms purely on headline price. For a firm iterating this fast on its add-on catalog, that bet appears to be paying off often enough to keep expanding the menu.
