Two separate products, one account.
Goat Funded Trader has run two distinct businesses under one brand. GFT is the forex and CFD side, traded through platforms such as MT4, MT5, cTrader and TradeLocker. GFF, short for Goat Funded Futures, is the futures-only side, restricted to CME, COMEX, NYMEX and CBOT listed contracts and traded through platforms such as NinjaTrader, Tradovate and TradingView. Until now, the two have operated as separate products with their own logins and dashboards.
On 8 September 2026, Goat Funded Trader confirmed the two now sit inside the same account infrastructure. Traders can switch between forex and futures from the sidebar with a single click. For existing GFF users specifically, the firm says the forex workspace is unlocked automatically, with no new profile required. Futures traders also receive free backtesting, a refreshed interface and three additional languages as part of the rollout.
What Goat Funded Trader has actually stated.
- ✓Forex and futures now sit inside one account infrastructure, managed from a single dashboard.
- ✓Traders can switch between the two markets from the sidebar with one click.
- ✓Existing GFF (futures) users get the forex workspace unlocked automatically, without creating a new profile.
- ✓Futures traders receive free backtesting as part of the rollout.
- ✓A refreshed interface and three additional languages are included for futures traders.
- ✓Payouts, analytics and rewards are shared across both markets under the same login.
This is currently a single-sourced report, attributed to Goat Funded Trader's own statement as published by Forex Prop Reviews on the morning of 8 September 2026. We have not yet found an independent second source or an official Goat Funded Trader X post confirming the rollout, and no complaints or contradicting reports have surfaced either. Treat the confirmed points above as the firm's own account of the change rather than independently verified fact until a second source appears.
The gaps in the firm's own announcement.
A few things the reporting does not settle. It is not clear whether the reverse also applies, that is, whether existing GFT (forex) users get the futures workspace unlocked automatically in the same way GFF users get forex unlocked, or whether that direction requires a separate step. It is also not stated whether the rollout is live for all users today or being staged in phases, nor whether the free backtesting tool covers all futures account types or only specific plans.
None of this affects the trading rules themselves. Goat Funded Trader has been explicit that the merger changes the account layer, not the risk parameters of either product.
If you hold an existing GFT or GFF account and are not sure whether the other market has been unlocked for you, check your dashboard directly or ask support rather than assuming either way based on this report.
One login, two very different rulebooks.
The practical benefit is friction removal. Switching between a forex-focused funding programme and a futures-focused one has typically meant separate credentials, separate dashboards and separate account histories. Folding both into one login removes that administrative step for traders who want to try the other market without starting from scratch.
There is a retention angle worth naming plainly too. A trader who begins on GFT no longer has to leave the ecosystem to explore futures, and the same works in reverse once fully rolled out. Keeping that activity inside one account, rather than losing it to a competitor's product when a trader's interests shift, is a reasonable commercial reason for a firm to make this change.
GFF and GFT remain functionally separate products with their own drawdown, consistency and payout conditions. Unifying the login does not merge the rulebooks. GFF continues to cover only CME, COMEX, NYMEX and CBOT listed futures, traded through NinjaTrader, Tradovate or TradingView. GFT continues to cover forex and CFDs, traded through MT4, MT5, cTrader or TradeLocker.
If you are on a GFF evaluation or funded account, the merger does not change your drawdown type, your profit split or your payout cap. Read the specific programme's own rules before assuming anything carries over from one market to the other.
What to watch for.
Worth watching over the coming days: whether Goat Funded Trader publishes its own official statement or documentation update rather than the account currently relying on third-party coverage, whether reciprocal access for existing GFT users toward the futures workspace is confirmed, and whether the free backtesting tool's coverage across futures plans is spelled out. We will update this piece if the firm publishes further detail or if the rollout timeline becomes clearer.
If you are weighing a futures-focused firm instead.
If what you actually want is a futures-only account rather than a combined forex and futures login, it is worth comparing GFF's structure against other futures-dedicated firms. Apex Trader Funding is one of the sector's largest names by account volume and is often used as a benchmark for pricing, platform support and payout terms.
