01 What happened

A new no-evaluation programme, launched with discount codes.

Instant Funding has introduced IF Micro Lite, an instant-funding model that skips evaluation phases and gives direct access to capital. It comes in four sizes: $5,000, $10,000, $25,000 and $50,000. The standard profit split is 80%, and an add-on can raise it to 90%.

Before you assume which programme this is

Instant Funding has several similarly named programmes. IF Micro Lite is the new instant-funding model described here. IF Micro Pro is the new name for the former IF Micro, following the 25 September rebrand. Instant Funding Lite is a different programme, the new name for the former Instant Funding GO. IF Micro Clarity was retired for new purchases, as announced on 9 September.

Check the programme name at checkout, because the rules above do not carry over between them.

There is a circuit breaker that automatically closes positions if floating losses exceed 1% of the initial balance. That breach, and trading in the restricted news window (4 minutes before and after high-impact events), each trigger a strike. The first strike cuts the profit split to 50%. The second closes the account. Weekend holding is not permitted.

Using the stated figures, the $50,000 account at 37.5% off would cost roughly $213 (our arithmetic: $341 less 37.5%).

03 What remains uncertain

Details the announcement does not give.

  • ✓The Smart Drawdown. The report gives an initial 6% that locks at 3% once a trader has 3% profit in closed trades. It does not explain whether the 6% trails the balance or how the lock works in practice.
  • ✓Strikes. It is not stated whether strikes reset, whether the 50% split is permanent once applied, or whether a circuit-breaker breach and a news breach count separately.
  • ✓Prices and offers. Base prices for the $10,000 and $25,000 sizes are not given, and neither code has a stated end date.
  • ✓Costs of execution. The difference in cost between Commission Free and RAW Spread is not described.
  • ✓The 90% add-on. Its price is not stated.
04 Why this matters

Cheap access, with penalties that bite early.

An instant-funding account removes the evaluation, but the rules here are tight. A 15% consistency rule, a 1% floating-loss circuit breaker and a 4-minute news window all sit on top of a 3% daily loss limit. The strike system means one slip can cost 30 percentage points of profit split, from 80% to 50%, and a second ends the account.

Payouts also come only every 14 days and only once the drawdown has locked and net profit has reached 5%. For traders comparing instant-funding programmes, those conditions matter more than the headline discount.

05 What happens next

What to confirm before buying.

Worth confirming directly with Instant Funding before purchase: how strikes are counted and whether they reset, how the Smart Drawdown behaves before it locks, the full price list for all four sizes, and when LITE40 and MICRO375 expire.

06 Comparing your options

Comparing instant funding with a standard evaluation.

Instant-funded accounts trade a lower upfront cost for stricter ongoing rules. If you would rather clear a standard evaluation, it is worth comparing against an established firm.

Our full Apex Trader Funding review covers the rules that matter and the ones that are mostly marketing. Code ONKAGNVZ applies up to 90% off evaluation fees during the current Apex sale.
