01 What happened

The backlog we reported on is, by the firm's account, resolved.

Nexgen ProTrader Funding says the payout backlog this site previously reported is now resolved. The firm states all approved payouts through 26 August are current, with only four payments still pending, and those specifically because the recipients haven't completed their Rise or PayPal account setup, not a processing delay on Nexgen's end.

Nexgen says payout processing times are expected to return to a standard of 1 to 1.5 business days. To support that, the firm has implemented a second payment processor, already active, with a third planned.

Separately, Nexgen confirmed via its own official email that CQG account provisioning, which had been offline, is back online and new account creation has been re-enabled; traders who purchased an account but didn't receive it during the outage are asked to submit a support ticket.

Nexgen also outlined a forward roadmap of features not yet available: a dedicated Live Cash dashboard, technical integration with Rithmic, and direct TradingView support.

Comparing how firms communicate and resolve operational issues is worth doing anywhere. Apex Trader Funding is another established futures firm worth comparing on documented terms, currently running a discount on evaluation fees.

02 Confirmed

What is confirmed.

The payout backlog status, the four remaining pending payments and their stated cause, the second payment processor going live, and the CQG restoration are all confirmed directly in Nexgen's own materials, dated 28 August 2026 for the payout and infrastructure update and via Nexgen's own official email for the CQG restoration.

03 Unresolved

What remains uncertain.

No specific timeline was given for the third payment processor or for any of the roadmap items (Live Cash dashboard, Rithmic integration, TradingView support), all of which Nexgen described as not currently available.

04 The stakes

Why this matters.

This is a genuine, verifiable resolution to a real problem, not just a firm's own characterization of progress. The distinction Nexgen draws between the four pending payments (blocked by incomplete trader-side setup, not firm delay) is a meaningful one worth taking at face value given it's a specific, checkable claim rather than a vague reassurance.

Editorial note

The roadmap items are worth watching rather than treating as confirmed features. Rithmic and TradingView support would be significant additions to Nexgen's platform offering if delivered, but the firm itself frames them as future plans, not current capability.
