01What happened

One login, multiple prop firms.

NexgenProTraderFunding has announced the availability of a new third-party connector for NinjaTrader 8. The tool lets traders manage NexGen AMP CQG accounts simultaneously with accounts from other prop firms, including Take Profit Trader, Apex, and various firms running on the Tradovate platform.

02How it works

Built for coexistence, not replacement.

The connector is fully compatible with standard NinjaTrader trade copiers. Traders can connect directly to their NexGen AMP accounts, or keep a connection to another supported prop firm account while the connector manages the AMP link in the background. Traders already using the NexGen ProTrader Funding copier are advised against running a second copier at the same time, since that risks duplicating trades.

The software was developed by an independent third-party developer. NexgenProTraderFunding does not sell, build, or provide direct support for it, though the firm has shared an installation guide via video.

03Why it matters

A quiet but real convenience, with the usual caveats of unofficial tools.

Managing accounts across multiple prop firms usually means juggling separate platforms and logins, so a connector that consolidates that into a single NinjaTrader 8 workflow addresses a genuine friction point for traders who diversify across firms. That it explicitly names Apex and Take Profit Trader as compatible firms makes the practical use case concrete rather than theoretical.

The firm's disclaimer that it neither built nor supports the tool is the standard, sensible caveat for any third-party integration: if something breaks or behaves unexpectedly, traders are relying on an independent developer rather than NexGen's own support channel. The duplicated-trade warning for anyone running two copiers at once is worth taking seriously, since that's the kind of error that only surfaces once real capital is at risk.
