Fewer preset menus, more sliders.
Phoenix Trader Funding launched Blueprint, a new prop account that lets traders customize their own profit goals, drawdown limits, daily loss limits and payout ceilings, rather than choosing from a fixed set of predefined rules. Phoenix has historically offered a small menu of challenge types, including its Classic and Ascension accounts, each shipping with its own preset rule set. Blueprint replaces that menu, at least for this account type, with a single configurable structure.
The practical difference is that two traders on Blueprint accounts of the same size could end up with meaningfully different terms, one prioritizing a lower drawdown at the cost of a smaller payout ceiling, another doing the opposite, depending on how each configures the account at checkout.
What Blueprint actually costs, and pays.
Blueprint pricing starts at $29 all-in. Funded accounts opened under the new structure include a 90% profit split, and traders become eligible for daily payout requests after their first three trading days. Phoenix hasn't published the specific ranges within which each customizable variable, profit target, drawdown, daily loss limit and payout ceiling, can be set, so the degree of actual flexibility a trader gets likely depends on limits the firm hasn't detailed publicly yet.
Customization shifts the comparison problem onto the trader.
Most funded-account comparisons work by lining up fixed products side by side: this firm's 10% target against that firm's 8%, this drawdown against that one. A fully configurable account breaks that comparison model, because there's no single Blueprint account to compare, there are as many versions of it as there are combinations a trader chooses at checkout.
That flexibility can be genuinely useful for a trader who understands their own risk tolerance well enough to configure it deliberately. It can also make it harder to know, at a glance, whether the account someone else is describing online resembles the one being offered at signup.
