01What happened

Pass in a day, if you can hit the target.

PipFarm has overhauled its One Step Light evaluation program, effective for all purchases made from 12:00 GMT on September 23, 2026. The challenge phase now allows a 6% profit target with no minimum trading days, meaning it's possible to pass the evaluation in a single day. Previous requirements, including the consistency score, a profitable-days requirement, and a daily loss limit, have all been removed from this stage.

02The terms

Loose on the way in, more structured once funded.

Risk management during evaluation now runs on a 2% absolute maximum risk limit, with a trailing maximum loss calculated at end of day: 4% for $5K, $10K, $20K and $50K accounts, and 3% for $100K and $150K accounts.

Funded accounts default to weekly payouts, but require four profitable days at a minimum of 0.25% profit each, plus a 40% consistency score. The absolute maximum risk stays at 2% (without Pip Protector), the trailing maximum loss becomes 4% across all sizes, and the minimum payout is 1%. The initial payout cap is 3%, rising by one percentage point after each successful payout up to a ceiling of 6%.

03Why it matters

The easy part and the real test aren't the same phase anymore.

Removing the consistency score, minimum days and daily loss limit from the evaluation makes One Step Light genuinely fast to pass, a trader who hits 6% cleanly in a single session is done. But that speed is concentrated entirely in the evaluation; the funded stage still enforces a 40% consistency score and a four-profitable-day bar before the first payout goes out. The structure that used to be spread across both phases has been consolidated into the funded stage instead of removed.

That's a reasonable design, since it lets the firm fund traders faster while still gating capital withdrawal on the behavior that actually matters to it, consistent profitability rather than a single strong session. Traders drawn in by the one-day-pass headline should read past it to the funded-stage requirements before assuming the whole program has gotten easier.
