Apex Trader Funding BOGO: 90% Off Legacy Evaluations, Second One Free
Apex has stacked 90% off Legacy evaluations with a free second evaluation of the same size, but only until Thursday at noon ET. Here is what the offer covers, what Apex's post leaves out, and what a Legacy account costs once the first month is over.
Apex Trader Funding's BOGO deal gives 90% off Legacy evaluations plus a second Legacy evaluation of the same size free, for the first month only. It ends Thursday, October 29 at 12:00 PM ET and covers every Legacy size from 25K to 300K. Apex's own examples: a 25K Legacy evaluation from $17.70, or $8.85 each with BOGO, and a 50K from $19.70, or $9.85 each. Legacy accounts bill monthly under the pre-March 2026 rules, so the first-month price is not the full cost.
What Apex Announced
Apex announced the offer on X and describes it as the first time it has stacked two deals into one. The table restates the post.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Offer | 90% off Legacy evaluations, stacked with buy one, get one free |
| How BOGO works | Buy any Legacy evaluation at 90% off and get a second Legacy evaluation of the same size free (first month only) |
| Sizes | 25K, 50K, 100K, 150K, 250K, 300K |
| Apex's examples | 25K: as low as $17.70, or $8.85 per evaluation with BOGO. 50K: as low as $19.70, or $9.85 per evaluation with BOGO |
| Ends | Thursday, October 29 at 12 pm (Apex writes EST) |
The post marks the BOGO terms with asterisks but does not show the fine print.
About that deadline
Apex writes the deadline as 12pm EST. WealthCharts' partner page lists the same offer as ending at 12 noon ET, and Eastern clocks are still on daylight time on October 29, because they go back on Sunday, November 1. We treat 12:00 PM ET, which is 16:00 UTC, as the cutoff. If you plan to buy on Thursday, do it in the morning.
The Prices and What You Get
Apex's post gives examples for two sizes. Apex's Legacy product page lists all six sizes on three platforms. Account parameters are identical across platforms, but prices are not: Tradovate listings cost $50 a month more than Rithmic and WealthCharts at every size, and Tradovate PA fees are slightly higher on four sizes.
Rithmic and WealthCharts
| Size | Regular monthly | 90% off, month one (pays for both) | Per evaluation with BOGO | PA fee, one-time per account |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $177 | $17.70 | $8.85 | $99 |
| 50K | $197 | $19.70 | $9.85 | $125 |
| 100K | $397 | $39.70 | $19.85 | $149 |
| 150K | $597 | $59.70 | $29.85 | $179 |
| 250K | $697 | $69.70 | $34.85 | $189 |
| 300K | $797 | $79.70 | $39.85 | $199 |
Apex's 25K and 50K examples match these listings, which is why the post says "as low as".
Tradovate
| Size | Regular monthly | 90% off, month one (pays for both) | Per evaluation with BOGO | PA fee, one-time per account |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $227 | $22.70 | $11.35 | $105 |
| 50K | $247 | $24.70 | $12.35 | $130 |
| 100K | $447 | $44.70 | $22.35 | $155 |
| 150K | $647 | $64.70 | $32.35 | $185 |
| 250K | $747 | $74.70 | $37.35 | $189 |
| 300K | $847 | $84.70 | $42.35 | $199 |
Prices and PA fees are as shown on Apex's Legacy page on October 28. Per-evaluation figures are our arithmetic, half the 90% price, because Apex's post gives examples for two sizes only. Those two examples match the Rithmic and WealthCharts listings.
Account parameters
| Size | Max contracts | Profit goal | Trailing threshold |
|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | 4 (40 micros) | $1,500 | $1,500 |
| 50K | 10 (100 micros) | $3,000 | $2,500 |
| 100K | 14 (140 micros) | $6,000 | $3,000 |
| 150K | 17 (170 micros) | $9,000 | $5,000 |
| 250K | 27 (270 micros) | $15,000 | $6,500 |
| 300K | 35 (350 micros) | $20,000 | $7,500 |
Apex lists no daily drawdown and no scaling on any Legacy evaluation size. Every listing includes real-time data fees, which Apex values at $55. Tradovate and Rithmic listings also include the NinjaTrader platform, a $75 value, and Tradovate adds the Tradovate license.
What the Post Leaves Out
The post covers the headline mechanics. These are the gaps worth closing before paying.
| Topic | Stated in the post | Not stated |
|---|---|---|
| Free evaluation | A second Legacy evaluation of the same size, first month only | How it is added at checkout, and whether it must be on the same platform |
| Renewal | BOGO applies to the first month | What the discounted evaluation and the free one cost from month two |
| PA activation fee | Nothing | Apex's Legacy page lists a one-time fee per size, shown in the table above |
| Fine print | Asterisks on both discounts | The terms behind the asterisks |
Earlier Legacy promotions this year also advertised 80% off recurring months and a reduced PA activation fee. This post mentions neither, so do not assume they carry over. Apex's coupon page adds the standard exclusions: codes are for new signups only, and they cannot be applied to resets or PA activation fees.
What You Are Actually Buying: Legacy vs Current Accounts
Legacy is a separate product line, not a cheaper version of the current accounts. Apex says Legacy rules were not changed in the March 2026 overhaul, and that Legacy accounts stay on recurring billing until cancelled.
| Feature | Legacy (this offer) | Current accounts (since Mar 1, 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Billing | Monthly subscription that renews until cancelled | One-time fee, 30 days of access |
| Resets | Legacy evaluations can be reset | No resets; a failed or expired evaluation is replaced by a new purchase |
| Sizes | 25K to 300K | 25K to 150K |
| Daily loss limit | None listed on any size | Fixed on EOD evaluations, none on Intraday |
| Funded consistency rule | 30% | 50% |
| Payout cap | No six-payout cap | Six payouts per PA |
Details are in our guides to Apex 4.0, the reset policy, the consistency rule, the payout cap and the daily loss limit.
Apex's Legacy PA compliance page is a longer rulebook than the current one. Its sections include the One-Direction rule, the Flipping Trades rule, the News Trading rule, the DCA and Adding to Trades rules, a Legacy Max Contracts rule and a Legacy Safety Net requirement. The MAE and 5:1 risk-reward rules that were removed for new accounts belong to this older side, and our 5:1 risk-reward guide covers how they apply.
Who It Fits and How to Use the Second Evaluation
Who it fits
Traders who want a size the current lineup no longer offers, such as 250K or 300K, who want the option to reset a failed evaluation, and who can realistically pass inside the first month. For them the first-month price is very low.
Who should look elsewhere
Traders who want one-time fees with no recurring billing, the current 50% consistency rule or a simpler rulebook. The current accounts in our Apex cost guide and account sizes guide are the better match. We have not compared Legacy and current prices in dollars here, because current-account pricing should be checked live at checkout.
Do not hedge across the two accounts
A free second account invites the idea of taking opposite sides on the two. Apex prohibits hedging of any kind, including long and short positions on the same or correlated instruments, and its published rules extend that to offsetting positions across your own accounts. Our hedging guide covers the rule in full.
Do not treat evaluations as disposable
Apex's prohibited activities also bar stockpiling discounted evaluations to cycle through and blow up accounts in pursuit of windfall profits. A free second evaluation is a promotion, not a reason to burn accounts. If you run both with the same strategy, check the rules in our copy trading and multiple accounts guide first.
Count the second account's costs
Two open Legacy evaluations mean two renewal dates, and if both pass, two PA activation fees. On a 50K size, that is $250 in PA fees on Rithmic or WealthCharts and $260 on Tradovate, at the amounts Apex lists, on top of any renewal charges. Decide before buying what the second account is for.
How to Claim It Before the Deadline
Apex has put Legacy evaluations back on sale several times this year, including in July, late August and October, so a missed deadline is not necessarily the last one. Apex has not committed to a schedule, though, and it describes each return as limited.
Apex BOGO FAQ
Futures trading carries substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Apex Trader Funding's programs use simulated trading, and payouts are discretionary and subject to eligibility. Past or simulated performance is not indicative of future results. TraderPayout may receive compensation from partners featured in this article. Offer details are based on Apex Trader Funding's announcement on X and its Legacy product page as of October 28, 2026, and are subject to Apex's terms, which may change.
